Giving Tuesday took place Dec. 3, and with the help of generous donors, we were able to raise $4,228! Every year, we participate in this global day of giving and generosity to help us continue caring for community cats like Snickerdoodle, Walter McFluffy, TBird, and now Ash.
Pictured below is Ash who despite being in so much pain, kindly approached two people and rubbed against their legs.
When they noticed the condition of its tail, they couldn’t just leave her behind. With broken hearts, they brought Ash to their home and arranged the soonest appointment they could book for a tail amputation and spay surgery.
With only $50 to contribute to Ash’s vet bill and already caring for 10 other cats, SAFCC was contacted to help facilitate Ash’s care and recovery.
Ash is one of many cats who has benefitted from our Cat Crisis Fund which just like all of our other programs, solely relies on donations.
