Since the west side San Antonio bar, Jaime’s Place, opened its doors, Guero has always been there. After his family took him to the vet to remove a chicken bone from his throat, the rest was history as Guero grew to love and trust his community. He quickly became another reason San Antonio locals wanted to eat, drink, and watch live music at this specific bar. When Guero’s passing was announced on social media September 13th, we were devastated, but not surprised to see the number of stories Jaime’s Place was able to share on their account from all the locals who got to know Guero. You may notice that his left ear tip indicates that Guero was a neutered cat. His family understands that TNR is in the best interest of cats and have always looked after Guero’s quality of life.
Thank you Guero, for the joy and love you brought to so many people. May you rest in peace.
