Barktoberfest
Thank you so much to everyone for coming out to Barktoberfest this year! With your help, we were able to raise $370! We also want to give a special shout out to UTSA’s Accounting Professionals of Tomorrow for all their help in raising these funds. From face-painting, to walking through the crowd collecting donations, each member had a creative, and paw-sitive attitude! We can’t wait to see what next year brings!
National Adoption Week
The Community Cat Adoption Program had a successful National Adoption Week, closing the week with 17 cats adopted, including Fog, a 10+ year old FIV positive male, who we met in February this year. If you follow us on social media, you may already know about Fog and his health journey.
Fog arrived as a scabby, unneutered male with permanently folded ears from years of fighting with other ferals. With professional help, we helped heal his wounds including a bb that was lodged into the skin of his throat, and got him well groomed. Even when his health had a long road ahead, we did not give up on him.
Thank you so much for adopting our cats and kittens and supporting our Community Cat Adoption Program! 17 more cats will spend the holidays with their furrever families!
