The first show in San Antonio kicks off in two weeks! Some shows are already SOLD OUT! 🙀👏👏👏 Please come out and see The Amazing Acrocats featuring Tuna and the Rock Cats between March 30th - April 2nd at the Josephine Theatre. The coalition is a proud partner of this incredible show and their very talented crew. Our volunteers will be there to support them and help with operations so please say hi! Lollipop was adopted! Here are some photos of her life in her home with her new family!

“Since the moment she joined our home, Lolly was family. On minute one, our four year old daughter started cuddling with her and they instantly formed a bond. In the short time that Lollipop has been a part of our family, she has shown to be incredibly affectionate, loves to be hugged, and is very gentle with our four year old. Her and my daughter cuddle together every night and when my daughter is at school, Lollipop eagerly waits for her. I’ve never known a cat to give purrs, kisses, and physical affection so generously and we are so happy to have found Lolly. Lollipop was born with a health condition that required surgery early on and as a result, many families overlooked her. We believe that this was because she was waiting for us to find her. We are so grateful for the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition and her foster for connecting us with Lollipop.”

Sabrina saw Charm as our cat of the month and has always wanted to give a one eyed kitty a loving home. Charm got adopted during #NationalAdoptionWeek and went home to introduce a loveable dog who adores cats. We hear that they're a perfect match! 🐈🐕Charm immediately accepted Sabrina and is so sweet with nuzzling and accepting pets from Sabrina. Charm always knew that good things were coming her way. Charm really wants her friends to be adopted as well this week. Don't forget to find us at Petsmart on Dove Creek this Sunday, March 12th, from 12-3 p.m.! Cats and kittens are still waiting to have a success story like Charm!

This week helps our friendly feline friends find their furrever homes, but we can only do so much! 🏡❤️Sunday March 12th is the last chance for our community to come out and adopt our patient cats and kittens who still need a home. Come to Petsmart's Dove Creek location on March 12th from 12 - 3 PM for our adoption event that incluedes a $50 special for adult cats! Declawing is not tolerated in our organization, but we fear that the law that protects our cats from facing this experience will be overturned.

House Bill 1348, authored by veterinarian Lynn Stucky (District 64), is scheduled for a hearing with the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock TOMORROW on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 @ 8 AM. House Bill 1348 is a preemption bill specifically directed at overturning the local Austin Declaw Ordinance, a bill that animal advocates worked hard to pass back in 2021.

Let them know that you strongly oppose HB 1348 (relating to the authority of a municipality to regulate veterinarians). Declawing is inhumane and hurts cats, kittens, and so many other animals and we should retain our right to prevent animal abuse in any way that we can!
